Discount Trucks is a friendly, family-run business that specialises in the Japanese Mazda Bongo.

We would like to introduce ourselves to you, the ever growing band of people who are interested in owning or indeed own a Mazda Bongo or Ford Freda

We bought our first Bongo in 2001 when they were a rarity on British roads and immediately found it to be such as useful and true multi purpose vehicle – camping, kids to parties, moving furniture, minibus, the list goes on!!

Our core business was the importation and sale of brand new double cab trucks from Europe (hence our name Discount Trucks) but soon found a demand for the Mazda Bongo by simply using it ourselves and being asked to source them for customers.

In 2003 our business was to change to Mazda Bongo sales and service and despite current economic trends (January 2009) are thankfully still busy.

We found the Mazda Bongo to be a simple and uncomplicated vehicle and with the help of our own full time and long serving mechanic together with our friends in Japan, soon became competent in their preparation and repair. By understanding their small ‘quirks’, we are able to adopt our ‘prevention better than cure’ policy towards all our sales cars.

Both the Auto Free Top and Tin Top versions come with a wealth of extras including air conditioning, electric windows, electric blinds, central locking, air bag/bags, and ABS can be found on most models.

We pride ourselves in the cosmetic but especially the mechanical preparation of our vans and testimony to this can be found on the BongoFury website, which we highly recommend for prospective customers.

Our sales vehicles are fully serviced: engine oil and filter (gearbox oil change on 4x4), cam belt, fuel and air filter, new MOT, underbody wax oil, new UK CD fitted* and road tax, just add fuel!!

All the vehicles we offer for sale are in stock at our premises in the South of England.
